Product advice - a perfect mirror finish on stainless steel and non-ferrous metals
Picture Description
The newly developed grinding and polishing system with the new special TZ Pyramid and SuperPolish fabrics from Eisenblatter produce a perfect mirror finish quickly and in just a few work cycles.

Example 1 - using the POLY-PTX 800 Linear sanding system:

The rework with TZ Pyramid A30 (Grit 600) and finish with A16 (Grit 1200). We recommend thah you prepare lower quality stainless steel (with minor inclusions etc) or very hard material with A06 (Grit 2000).

Yellow Super PolishStep 2.
Use the new, yellow SuperPolish material for the main polishing process in conjunction with preparation and finish compound.

IMPORTANT:
After each step, remove the compound residue from the workpiece with POLY Lime and a microfibre cloth.

yellow SuperPolish material Step 3.
Finally use the yellow SuperPolish material together with the finish polishing cream. This time only polish in one direction.

IMPORTANT:
User a different SuperPolish disc/belt sleeve for each polishing step to prevent cross-contamination.
POLY-PTX top finish rings (soft)Step 4:

Pipe finishing

Did you know that the PTX-500 is truly a multipurpose machine? It proves to be the most useful and indispensable tool in an ever growing number of stainless steel workshops around Australia.

Picture PREVENTING DISC CLOGGING

MAGNUM® TIGER SHARK FLAP DISC

Lubrication

Using abrasive sanding discs, belts or flap discs on aluminium has always caused several problems like clogging of the abrasives and reducing the service life. Various techniques are being used but nothing has really worked successfully - until now:

Say hello to the new grinding, cutting and polishing aid and goodbye to the old grease bar, pig fat, soap etc. and start saving time and money now!

It significantly improves the performance of your grinding, sanding and polishing abrasives - up to 300 % with our ceramic flap discs type Tiger Shark! No more clogging up of discs and belts after only seconds of use. Non hazardous, no dangerous fumes, easy to wipe off and does not affect the welding process. And it even reduces the amount of fine aluminium dust created by the sanding process.

Of course you can use it also with our range of Zircotex-Fix flap discs, belt sleeves or belts out of our range!

And remember, the right speed is another important factor. Use our variable speed angle grinder VARILEX and you will increase the service life even more!

ircotex-Fix Backing Pad - How to put a disc on

Did you know how to get the maximum life out of the range of Zircotex Fix products?

  • choose the right speed for the application, use a variable speed angle grinder to select the optimum rpm (see our VARILEX angle grinder)
  • when the disc is worn down to the edge of the backing pad, change over to the next smaller size backing pad and continue to work until the whole material on the disc is used up !

And remember, using a smaller size backing pad will increase the flexibility of the disc, so if you are still using regular fibre discs because of the required flexibility, try the Zircotex Fix flap discs - with increased flexibility very similar to a fibre disc and a service life of up to 25 times longer then a regular fibre disc !!!
